Ashworth Engineering, PLLC started in the early 1970's when John Ashworth, Jr., then City Engineer for Memphis, Tn. resigned and started a civil/survey firm as well as home building and land development firms. John's son, Wes Ashworth, purchased the engineering/surveying firm and incorporated Ashworth Engineering in 1984.

Through the years, Wes Ashworth has piloted the company from a two-person company to a firm that has had as many as 65 persons. Wes has also personally developed dozens of subdivisions comprising hundreds of lots and mixed uses.
